Marquette County History Museum Store

The Museum Store features original stock certificates, maps, photographs and publications by the Museum, including Dandelion Cottage, The Grand Island Story, and North to Lake Superior. A 73 minute DVD documentary about Marquette created from the archive and photograph collection titled, On Iron Bay, the Marquette Michigan Story, is also available.

Currently, reproductions of maps from the J.M. Longyear Research Library’s collection are also available for purchase. They include: Marquette (1897), Ishpeming, Negaunee or Republic (all 1881), Land of Hiawatha, the Plan for the Village of Marquette, and the Yellow Dog River District. These maps are printed on high quality, archival paper with archival ink.

The Museum Store has everything you need to bring home from your trip to Marquette! We carry traditional hand-made Finnish rag rugs, locally made jewelry and art, pasty magnets, t-shirts, and many DVDs and books about the area. Wildlife puppets, beautifully illustrated children’s books, travel journals, puzzles and coloring books are just a few of the items for children at the Museum Store!
