Dandelion Cottage

This minor children's classic was published in 1904 and was written by Marquette author Carroll Watson Rankin.  It tells the story of four girls who earn the right to use a small cottage as a playhouse for the summer after they clear the yard of all the dandelions.

This is a very wholesome and charming tale you may remember reading when you were in grade school.  This hardcover book is the perfect gift for girls age 7-14.  (Published by the Marquette County History Museum)
