The museum’s collection spans from the prehistoric copper culture through present day. Our collection has grown extensively thanks to the generosity of the local community since the Museum was founded in 1918.

Some of the highlights include our gun collection, numerous collectible dolls and toys, photograph collection, antique and vintage clothing and a Native American artifact collection. Only a small portion of it can be on display at once. For over 90 years, we have been the keepers of local history, interpreting, educating about and preserving those precious items that tell the stories of Marquette County.
